After a long scouting phase in April 2019 we started our collaboration with Elitech Lab for the implementation of their solution 'SchoolBusTracker app' four our International School in Treviso (Italy). The team shown a really great reaction and attention to our needs and was always ready to provide prompt evidences and suggestions. We were able to deliver a new experience to the parents and to our school secretary for the management of the schools service. It's been a pleasure to work with the Elitech Lab team.

SchoolBusTracker has become a vital tool in enhancing our transport operation at King Edward VI School, Southampton. We currently transport 720 pupils daily across 28 different bus routes. Since introducing the software last September, we have noticed a marked improvement in managing and monitoring the fleet. This includes real-time tracking, enhanced reporting features and improved communication between the bus companies and the scholar transport team. Thanks to a more streamlined process for issuing temporary bus passes through the SchoolBusTracker App, admin tasks have been significantly reduced and with pupils now using their School ID cards to scan on and off the bus, further cost savings have been achieved. We have received positive feedback from parents who have embraced the fantastic features of the system. One parent mentioned, "As an ad hoc bus user, the School Bus Tracker app has made the process of booking my children on to a bus very straightforward and easy. It is quick and simple to use and gives me immediate confirmation that they have a place, it also logs any upcoming bookings that I have made. The notifications informing me when they get on and get off buses are reassuring and accurate.

I am very pleased to be able to supply a testimonial outlining the service that Elitech has been able to supply Itchen Sixth Form College over the past academic year. At the start of the 2023-24 academic year we were looking for a simple yet effective tracking app for our 11 college bus routes. We were searching for a tracker that was appropriate for the 16-19 college sector, but we were finding that the vast majority of tracking apps were designed for schools, with a focus on the safeguarding of young pupils. The emphasis was very much on providing information to the parents of these young children, and to school managers. Parents were able to check that their child had safely boarded the bus, and school managers were able to check on the identity of all passengers on each of the school buses. Impressive though this was, we did not need this level of detail for our post-16 students; we simply needed a stripped-back and cost-effective tracking app which focused on providing timely information to the students themselves, rather than to parents. Brendan and his Elitech team have provided us with a tailored solution which is ideal for the Sixth Form College / FE market. The focus is on providing clear and reliable real-time tracking for each of the routes, with the flexibility of an 'any student-any route' feature which does not tie a student to a single route. Through the app, students are able to select their 'favourite' routes and are able to reset these at any time. Students receive a notification through their phones as soon as the bus starts its route and are able to see exactly where their bus is in real time. This mans that students can be reassured that their bus is approaching, and that they haven't missed it. The app comes into its own when there is an issue, for whatever reason. The notification facility on the app enables timely messages to be sent to the student to warn them of emerging issues such as road closures, bus breakdowns or traffic congestion. Given that students can track the bus on its route in real time, they are then able to delay their departure from the warmth of their home until a suitable time. From a management perspective, it is really helpful and reassuring to be able to see all routes converging to the college each morning. On the rare occasion that there is a problem, it is possible to warn teaching staff and exam invigilators of any bus delays, and to give them a predicted arrival time with confidence, based on the tracker. The app's 'panel' brings all information together, and is accessible via a PC or a phone - again providing really useful flexibility. A particular strength of the Elitech team lies in the quality of their communication. We have found them to be very responsive and easy to work with. The 'support' option in the integration panel is invaluable, and we have always had a response to any support requests within 24 hours. The team is keen to work with the client to provide a personalised, bespoke tracking solution which is both fit-for-purpose for the 16-19 sector and cost-effective.

Brendan’s team of software developers are providing an app that brings on board tracking and bus/coach passes to our parents across both android and iOS platforms (although the company provide much more including software for the education sector to manage school trips and travel too). The app is being positively received by the parents and the schools we work closely with due to the onboard live bus tracking, reassuring notifications to parents when their child boards our services and then arrives at school plus a simple pass purchasing system that takes seconds. It’s been a joy to work with the whole team and their commitment and expertise has been outstanding from start to finish. It’s not been the obligatory email to see how things are - it’s a phone call, Zoom or personal visit and a support team with names and a friendly joke whilst answering my many questions and demonstrating exemplary customer service (and patience).
